Descriptive Note
Plans of proposed Senior Citizens Community Centre to be erected on old railway land in Main Street West as a City Centennial Project. This site was not approved by Council and the Centre was later erected on the opposite side of Main Street West. See file 21/12 in subseries 1/5/5. Some of the drawings in this series originated in the City Engineer’s Department prior to the creation of the City Planner’s Department. The series INCLUDES drawings produced by Council staff and outside consultants (engineers, surveyors and architects.)
