NOTE: The majority of these maps are drawn on base maps of either 5 chains to 1 inch, (prepared about 1946), or 10 chains to 1 inch, (prepared about 1951). NOTE: This subseries is incomplete. Other maps from the period, 1946-1953, are known to have been destroyed during the 1960s.
