Descriptive Note
Correspondence and working papers relating to approvals for proposed subdivisions of land, arranged in numerical order of Scheme Plan (S.P.) numbers. Includes scheme plans approved by Kairanga County Council prior to boundary alterations of 1967. This subseries was discontinued on December 31 1982 and replaced by subseries 7/2/2 NOTE: 1. Other correspondence relating to these scheme plans can be found in the correspondence of the Town Clerk’s Department. Subseries 1/5/5 (files 74/-/-) and in the records of the City Engineer’s Department, subseries 4/11/1. These index pages provide a cross reference between three series of filing numbers 1. The plan number assigned to Council’s copy of the survey plan. The number is listed in the column on the far right of each page and consists of a series of numbers running from 2933 to 3950. 2. The deposited plan (DP) number assigned to the survey plan by the District Land Register (DLR) in Wellington. This number is listed in the third column from the right of each page. 3. The scheme plan (SP) number assigned to the application by the subdivisional approval staff of the City planner’s department. This number is listed in the sixth column from the right of each page, and is the number assigned to the files held in archives subseries 7/2/1. Old Series.
