Descriptive Note
Prints and negatives of engineering activities (mainly roading) and some photos of PNCC Social Club Activities. Most photos were taken by Geoff Bennitt, but a few were taken by other engineering staff. Geoff Bennitt was employed by the Palmerston North City Council for 22 years, 1978 – 2000. He was an Engineering Officer with the City Engineer’s Department until 1989, then a Roading Engineer with the Roading & Transport Unit of the Works Directorate (1989 – 1993). His final position was as Contracts Engineer with the Services & Facilities Unit (1993 – 2000)
