This is the plan referred to in the General Manager of Railway’s, letter dated 8th December 1939. The term of which together with this plan, all hereby agreed to by the Palmerston North City Council". 13th December 1939 signed by A.E Mansford (Mayor) and J.R Hardie (Town Clerk). Shows proposed site of station buildings and approach roads in Boundary road – Tremaine Avenue – and proposed site of Public playing field on corner of Rangitikei Line and Boundary Road – now Coronation Park)
