Coat of Arms of Palmerston North City Council (PNCC), circa 1955.
Coat of Arms featurs a lion standing atop a crest with a bird on left side and castle with Union Jack flag on right side. Underneath the crest are two branches arching upwards and around the crest. Around the top and bottom of this scene are two banners. The top banner staes: "Palmerston North City CouncIl. The bottom banner has the latin motto: "Palman Qui Meruit Ferat" (let whoever earns the palm bear it).
On the reverse is appear the crest, branches and banners with no text only. Includes a rope hanging device.
