Large ANZAC Quilt created by PNCC staff and residents of Palmerston North from 2015 to 2017. Quilt contains a multitude of poppies, a large cross and the motto, "From the uttermost corners of the earth".
Stitched label on reverse states, "The ANZAC Quilt was created to use poppies knitted by residents of Palmerston North. Member of PNCC staff began this project in 2015. Completed in 2017. Mayor Grant Smith attached the first poppy to the quilt prior to the official launch on ANZAC Day 2017".
Reverse right-corner label lists contributors to the quilt. Reverse left-corner labele states, "Return to: PNCC, The Square, Palmerston North"
Displayed on Mezzanine floor staircase post-ANZAC Day 2017 and later at other various institutions throughout Palmerston North.
